Bow Valley Baptist Church is seeking to be a house of prayer, in every sense that the Lord desires. God has called us to make disciples. That requires that we teach all members to pray and provide opportunities to pray in small groups and in a corporate setting. As we grow in this area, we have the following ministries that allow us to engage in this great work.
FRESH ENCOUNTER PRAYER SERVICE
This corporate prayer service has proved to be a great blessing from the Lord. Tuesday evening is set aside for this encounter with God. No other church activites can be scheduled during this time, as we desire every person to attend. The doors open at 6:00 pm for quiet prayer and preparation. The service starts at 7:00 pm and runs for one hour. You will experience meaningful music, scripture reading, testimonies, guided prayer, and opportunities to pray with one another within the church. Come join us for a Fresh Encounter with God.
PRAYER CHAIN
This ministry is facilitated through email, as it allows us to immediately engage our church in prayer for specific needs. This is a very active group, and we have seen many dramatic answers to prayer as a direct result of this ministry. The various ministries in Bow Valley Baptist Church also have prayer groups throughout the week. Check with the different ministries to see what best suites your schedule.
